HOW EVERYTHING STARTED

Our founder and CEO, Joaquim Ferreira, started his journey in home textiles at a young age, starting the 4th generation in his family working in the industry. Growing up in a small town near Guimarães called Felgueiras, Joaquim could get in close contact with nature and learn small habits such as growing his crops. This know-how connected him to his land and made him aware of his surroundings and the importance of organic ingredients.

Joaquim develops a collection by being observant and understanding the aesthetics of a countryside landscape or a blue Atlantic ocean. Our responsibility is to leverage our past to build a better present and future. This carries over into everything that we do, following our founder ́s legacy.

The Tradition

Joaquim is part of the 4th generation from his family working in textiles, and his experience comes from helping start his parent´s business. What started as long hours of driving lorries across the country became international flights to meet global brands and forge connections.
